ALL coaches must complete the following requirements in order to receive credentials. 

 

1. BACKGROUND CHECKS:

  • Please send an email to president.hfa@gmail.com with the subject "Background Check- Team Name (10U, Flag, D10, etc).  Please include your contact information (name, address, phone number, email). 
  • Shortly after, you will receive a link from "message@veritysecure.com" with the subject "Holmdel Football Association is considering you for an opportunity".  
  • When you receive this link, please complete the online form and submit it ASAP.  All coaches need to have a background check completed before the start of the season. 

 

2. SAFE SPORT TRAINING:

  • All coaches are required to read and sign this document. Please had in the signed copy to your Team Mom.

3.. AYF COACHING COURSES:

In the best interest of our young athletes, AYF strongly encourages all of our coaches to complete the coaching education program. Certification is required of all HFA football and cheer coaches. After you take the course, please print out your certificate and give it to your Team Mom prior to the start of the season. 

 

All courses include $2 million in liability insurance coverage.

 

 

4. CPR CARD

  • All Head Coaches MUST be CPR trained.  Prior to the start of the season, Holmdel Football Association will arrange to have a CPR class for new coaches or coaches whose certifications have expired (must re-certify and take the course every 2 years). 
  • If you are an assistant coach, please consider taking this course. We encourage all coaches to be CPR certified. 
  • Please make a copy of your CPR card and give it to your Team Mom.
